KOTZIAMANIS IMAGING CENTER “Andreas Kotziamanis I.E.P.E.” with over 40 years of dedicated service, our center aims to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services, complemented by one satellite center in Limassol to enhance accessibility for patients.

Our infrastructure, both in administrative and technical contexts, is designed to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care and protecting sensitive patient data.

Our main offices are located at 10 Filiou Zanettou, 3021, Limassol, Cyprus. 

We strive to protect personal data and apply high standards of conduct when it comes to privacy issues.  For patients:

  • Personal Information: Your name, date of birth, address, phone number, email, emergency contact, and insurance information, sensitive data such as medical conditions, ethnicity, nationality;
  • Health Information: Medical history, current conditions, diagnoses, and referral information relevant to your imaging needs.
  • Imaging Data: Imaging results, such as X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans, ultrasound images, and other diagnostic images.
  • Billing Information: Insurance details, payment records, and financial information related to the cost of your imaging services.
  • CCTV: Images of the CCTV system installed in our premises;

For employees or collaborators:

  • Basic details such as name, address, date of birth;
  • Contact information (phone number, e-mail etc.);
  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • ID number, social insurance number, IBAN number and other financial information;
  • Images of the CCTV system we have installed in our premises.

 For candidates for recruitment:

  • CV and the corresponding cover letters that candidates share with us.

We retain your imaging results and Personal Data that is necessary for compliance and legal enforcement purposes varies and depend on the nature of our legal obligations and claims in the individual case. Please note that medical records are kept for fifteen (15) years after the patient’s last visit or ten (10) years after the patient’s passing.

To the extent we have collected your Personal Data for purposes of provision of services, customer management, and customization of content as described above, we keep your Personal Data for as long as you are associated with us, as needed to provide you with our respective services and in compliance with relevant laws of Cyprus.

Any personal data collected under the lawful basis of the consent, such as contact details for communication purposes will be deleted when you withdraw your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any given time that you desire.

6. Your Rights Regarding Health and Personal Information

You have various rights under the applicable Data Protection Laws, and, GDPR, subject to certain exemptions, in connection with the processing of your personal data:

i. Right to access the data– You have the right to request a copy of the personal data that we hold about you, together with other information in connection to our processing of the that personal data;

ii. Right to rectification– You have the right to request that any inaccurate data which is held about you is corrected, or, if the retained information is incomplete, you may request that we update the information, in such a manner, so that it is rendered complete;

iii. Right to erasure– You have the right to request us to delete personal data that we hold about you. This is sometimes referred to as the ‘right to be forgotten’.

iv. Right to restriction of processing or to object to processing – You have the right to request that we no longer process your personal data for particular purposes, or, to object to our processing of your personal data for particular purposes.
